Veteran Spotlight: Vero Beach veteran truly saw the world with the Navy
VERO BEACH — The expression “Join the Navy and see the world” is true, says former Navy Lt. Rebecca Rickey, 54, of Vero Beach. Rickey not only got to see the world and take part in some important activities for the country, but she was given a chance to rub shoulders with members of Congress and other significant figures in American history.
